The library is one of my favorite places, and Matt and I frequent there often. These are the books I’m currently reading…

The Gravedigger’s Daughter… a rich book with an amazing vernacular… It pulls together my love of the World War II era and my obsession with hearing people’s life stories. Plus, the protagonist is a girl named Esther…

Esther is my favorite book of the Bible, and I’m currently going through the new Beth Moore study with some of the staff girls. My mom bought me several of Chuck Swindoll’s biographies when I was in college and the Esther one was always at the top of my list. Biographies are my favorite type of book.

Financial Peace is in the stack because Matt and I are going through the class right now at church. I love it because it’s such a detailed plan, and I LOVE details and LOVE a plan! I’m really excited about becoming even better stewards of what God has so richly blessed us with.

One Mississippi I couldn’t resist just because of the title… after all, I am a Mississippi Girl. Watermelon is the only one of the Marian Keyes books I haven’t read. My sister-in-law first introduced this series to me, and it’s a fun chick-flick type read. Change of Heart I haven’t started yet, but it’s about this lady who has to choose to forgive or not. It looked really interesting, so I’ll let you know how it turns out.

The bright orange cover is Cold Tangerines… a book I’ve read a dozen times, but I just love it. The author writes a lot like me (much better than me of course but the same style!) and I love how she captures everyday moments. I secretly wish that I could write a book like it someday. We’ll see what happens there! For now, I’m just thrilled that I get to write as much as I do.

So, those are the Italics in my life right now…
